Hello there! Team G.R.U.B. is comprised of the Grabowski brothers, Steve and Kevin, a.k.a. the Grub Brothers. We are a couple of ultramarathon noobs who just starting running trail races in 2008.
What is G.R.U.B.?
What does G.R.U.B. stand for you ask? Well, first off, we both had the nickname of "Grub" in high school and college. You see, our last name of "Grabowski" is often misprounounced "Gru-bow-ski" instead of "Gra-bow-ski", hence, the condensed version and consequent nickname, "Grub". In acronym form, G.R.U.B. stands for Grabowski Racing - Ultramarathon Brothers (It's the best I could come up with using those letters. I know, kinda weaksauce but it works for me!)
So, there ya have it. That's who and what we are. Just a couple of Polish knuckleheads who live in Minnesota and Wisconsin and love to run for hours on end in the woods!!! This blog will chronicle our successes and disasters in ultramarathoning and hopefully entertain you at the same time.
